Tellus Education Group has two institutions in the group; Tellus College and Meridian School of English sharing one mission; to provide life-changing opportunities through education & experience.
Tellus College has been providing vocational education programmes from 2004. Its core offers include ‘Work Based Learning’ (Work Experience), ‘Project Based Learning’ and ‘Technical Based Learning’. What make Tellus unique are that project co-ordinators speak many European languages in order to effectively communicate and support partners’ needs & requirements; provide mentoring and 24hr welfare support; deliver Ascentis Responsible Work Practice Unit and Social & cultural activities during the week; ability to organise work experience within many sectors to name a few: Business and Administration, Economics, Media, Graphic Design, Car Mechanics, Hospitality and Catering, Retail and Trade, Social Care and many more.
Tellus College has been nominated for the Study Travel Star Work Experience Award 7 years in concurrence and has won two times. Tellus College works with partners and Tellus currently has over 500 vocational schools, NGOs and other partner organisations.
Tellus College is able to provide its courses in 4 European countries, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain & Poland and in five amazing destinations, Plymouth and Portsmouth (UK), Salamanca (Spain), Turin (Italy) and Krakow (Poland).
Meridian School of English is celebrating 40 years of providing English language tuition to adults from all over the world. What makes Meridian unique are its historical cultural buildings in city central locations, the small class size of maximum eight students and the beautiful seaside cities of Plymouth and Portsmouth where the schools are based.
Meridian offers different accommodation options including homestay and university residential within walking distance of the schools.
The seaside locations of Plymouth and Portsmouth provide a very English experience and Portsmouth is only 1.5 hours from London by train.
As a school specialising in courses for adults, Meridian offers, General English, Exam Preparation (IELTS & Cambridge suite), One to One classes and Custom Courses.
Teaching extends outside the classroom with organised social & cultural activities during the week free to the students.
